Many similiar signboards that depecting the great traits of Allah in Arabic along with the Indonesian translation. There must be 99 signboards like this . This one depicted Allah as the most patient One. I never saw another city promoted this religious signboards before.

Still about lantern, another lantern. This is an electric lantern at Naughty Acceceries Outlet. The sales girl did not allow me to take this picture. I feel quite odd. i never understand why she ask me not to do that.Is this lantern coming from heaven ? Got no idea. What do you think ?

Teracota is one of the oldest materials as building bricks. Mostly Asian culture used this bricks. In Indonesia this teracota is still the primary one. Bare teracota without cement film is very interesting used as the building blocks. 
If you visit Ta Wan Resto at Pacific Place, this glass ornaments could be interesting for your to shoot. There are big and small types. Is it look like a sun flower or a swan's wings .
Another white coral from Pulau Umang. This island called as Pulau Umang since this island inhibitaed by tons of " Land Hermit Crab " or Coenobita brevimanus " This island is their hibitat. You could find them everywhere in thie beach island although the population is decreasing gradually due to the visitors who took them home as souvenier. This has been prohibit by the island management.See another beach here.
It was raining last night, fogs came around when i took this picture. This building is the entrance gate of Zona Columbus. It is picturing the Columbus ship to find the new world in 1492. Although it does not not look like the real one but the gate could be functionable as a shelter room for security man. 
This 24 hours KFC outlet at Petronas gazoline station is nice place to hang out for a while after driving away from Jakarta. It is not quite so crowd for family gathering. But no childreen play ground. The drug store is comfortable for small shopping. It seems that the business running well. 
The clouds hanging over the morning sky. Rainy season is on his peak. A tough guy was deconstructing an old building where this advertising is embedded. New renovation. New business. It will be raining soon...
How could you describe this God's drawing ? Nature plays and performances a magnificent colours everyday. How come we could not understand the magic of sunset in front of your eyes. As a my travel gift to Semarang, i post this beautiful temple of Sam Po Kong Temple complex to commemorate The Great Admiral of Zheng Ho. This temple long time ago was used to be a small mosque. Sam Po Kong is the local name for Zheng Ho , a moslem eunuch from China mailand who travelled to Java in the 15th century as the ambassador of China dinasty. Local peope called this temple complex as Gedung Batu ( Stone Building ) built at the old location of an ancient stone cave where his boatman rested for illness. It is probabbly the Stone Building name originated. But the facts behind the temple and its relation to Zheng Ho is still doubted by many historians. Some historians believed that Zheng Ho never landed in this place. Meanwhile The Sam Po Kong is not Zheng Ho, it is another history of Sam Po Thai Jien ( Three Great Man ) who traveled to Java for gemstones from different era. Since historical facts and local myths blended each other with differents facets, it makes the history turned tobe a just story and finally the just story become Another History. So what part do you believe ? 
This typically roof structures could be found mostly in Java called Joglo house and also found in Bali island. Both has the same culture backgrounds of Hindu. This pattern of roof structures also influenced by Chinese culture. I took this one in Sukawati Textile Market Bali island.
In a plant & flora exhibition , a fruit seller often takes that good chance to run a small business during the show besides his main business of selling and promoting plants and flower collection as behind him. So the business runs with bothside profit. Back and front business is doing well. You could see the yellow fruits here.
Thatch seems to be the Asian original handmade roof. You could find this wild weed roof from Indonesia to Malaysia, from Japan to China and mostly at Asian countries. It is a water and rain drop proof. Warm in the cold weather and cold in the hot season. It is about 3-5 centimeter thick. Since the weed drying up due to ages, it is absolutely easy flamable. In Indonesian remote villages it is now still used as housing roof. " Ilalang or Alang-Alang " is a wild weed as the raw material for making this thatch ( Atap ).
Kota Wisata Cibubur already expanded to the Ciangsana area at the west side of the housing . This prariry located at the end of the other gate of Kota Wisata " The Ciangsana Gate. ". Will this small prairy be finally gone to cover new housing area in the near future ? 
When you see Batik, you will see Indonesia. The pluralism embodied in his colours' montages. Full of colours that created a unseparated meaning. You can not spell the meaning of Batik without spelling the multifacets and the multicolours of it. Batik is Indonesia. Indonesia is Batik. No country could claim this world heritage as theirs but Indonesia.
Under the true blue sky, could you see the border of the ocean ? The horison never hide anything it is spreading like white clouds glowing. Two boats at Sanur beach Bali Island are waiting for the lonely tide and the lonely wind. If we gaze the thin line between sky an the ocean, the question will be very odd, is it thin ? or is it thick ?, where is the sky ? or where is the ocean ? Both of them are like two boats ...floating over the sea
On a daughter friend's birthday, my wife took this photo in the kitchen using her Sony Ericson W 880 with 2 MP camera only. It is a little bit blurred. It is not focus enough . The colour of the cakes combined with the merry of the cake papers make these cakes symphonically eyes catching. They are certainly using safe food colorants. Thank you Rika for your beautiful home made cakes.
Sunset is always amazing . You will see the light of the world faded with the lonely heart in your soul spreading. Sometimes you will find that in the calm of the sea, the world stays as it be leaving the rushy city behind away. You always think how could the nature be so stunning with her own pallets picturing her own beauty...We only gazed wordless.
The rock formations will welcome you when you arrived at Rock Island Parai Beach Sungailiat Bangka. No wonder why it is called as Rock Island since it is formed by the rock base only ! No geology's record about how this rock was formed at the eastern rim of Pulau Bangka. I think this must be interesting hitory about this granite rocks that has been created million years ago.
Jambu Bol is a myrtaceae family , species Syzygium malaccense. The taste is sometimes sour but it will be watery and very sweet when it is already ripe and the colour will be very bright red. The one you see in this pictures is still small, the future of Jamboo Bol. Do you know why pregnant woman like these sour fruits ? You can ask them ...
Nature always performed a wonderful creation with a tiny craft. This leaf is crafted by a caterpilar eating it for daily meal. It must be containing lot of Phytochemicals in it. That is why caterpilar is alway healthy and fat. Can you find them thin and skinny ?
This ugly fruit called Sawo Kecik- or small sawo- Manilkara Kauki . The taste is very watery sweet . Long time ago this sawo kecik only owned by the royal families but now you can find them everywhere. Mostly Javanese families planted them in the front yard . Some people believe that it will bring some lucks. Whether it is true or not , i like this fruit so much !!! You could see the same fruit family here.
New year with a new hope indeed but let me put some alerts about small thing that would be big trouble in the future . Global warming !. Having lunch at Plaza Semanggi at Vege resto today , i get a small booklet about global warming issue. this resto spreading this for free booklet. Then i scan it -sorry no photo!- for posting it to us all. Please remember the 3 words; reduce, reuse and recycle ! So guys and gals, happy new global warming year 2009 !!!.
