No Rule for Queing

This guy is trying hard to entry the line this morning in Bogor-Jakarta toll queing. I have been 30 minutes more on queing patiently but this guy out of from no way ( Nissan Teana ) suddenly take the line . But the guy in Land Cruiser give him no change. it stuck there quite many minutes. Somebody behind me blow the horn !

Sometimes many people fell that somebody try to take their privacy or their property by doing this action, since they have been on queing couple minutes. So , why can you be more polite on the road, guy ? I mean ...queing !

Restaurant Mang Kabayan-Sunda Cuisine

This Sunda cuisine is very famous in Cibubur since last 2 years. This place was a rice field and ginger plantation.It located about less 1 km from the Cibubur toll gate. I love visiting this Mang Kabayan restaurant with my family. The Karedok ( A raw blend of green bean, sprout, green vegetable with chillie grinding nuts paste ) is one of my wife favorite and i cant find the same taste in another Sunda restaurants. Really !

When you visit this restaurant you will see a white board signed by many celebritries ( or people think they are ...) with brief message of their personal impression about the restaurant. And our President SBY also signed the whiteboard !.I heard that this is one of the most favorite SBY' s restaurant since it is near to Cikeas where the Mr. President lived.

Mang Kabayan is the symbol of a simple but clever and straight-hearted Sunda guy of West Java. I think it is hard now to find a guy of this type...( ? )

Tahu Sumedang-Sumedang's Bean Cut

Tahu Sumedang is one of the most favorite meal from West Java. You could find it in many places. It was displayed usually in the chariot as you see in the picture. For Indonesian people this picture is absolutely an ordinary one. A joke about this meal is that "you buy chillies getting bean cut ". Since the seller will give a lot of chillies when you bought the fried bean cuts.

Being On Tow !

You think that Highway company will charge you no thing when you are getting on tow. It does not the way you think. You find trouble on the highway then the towing come to you , asking you what happen , you think it is free, But it does not.

Obat Perkasa Viagra

This small kiosk is selling approdisiac drug -indeed for male. In this small city you will only find this one. The promotion word is straight to the point ' Obat Perkasa ! " . The seller and the family live in this small kiosk. It is only 2.5 x 3 meters wide. It is quite hot enough i think.

Fruits Kiosk

This fruit kiosk has been to be my regular kioks to buy fruit at night. It is convinient shopping here. The gu seller is also very friendly. Now this kiok has been renovated as you see int his picture after many years growing from small kiok. I think the business must be growing well. In spite of a little bit higherthan other fruit kioks the quality is satisfactory.

Wanne be smart ? Let 's Learn !

This negleted chair has been put there quite many months. Desserted alone. Some peddlars used this nobody chair as the rest one. It made of rattans. And the cussions has been gone anyway. It is quite funny to read the banner above the chair advertised by a training organization says : " Wanne be Smart ? Let's learn !"

Family Vegetables Seller (Tukang Sayur )

This lady is very friendly promoting her business to Legenda Wisata complex. She used a motorbike embedded with her vegetables chariot every morning. In many real estate complex, the security will not allow any seller come and go freely without being listed as the member of the sellers. I think that is good and also being keep clean of the community.

This mobile minimarket ( ? woow ) basically is very helpful for the community to buy fresh fruit, vegetables in the morning. We could find complete enough product list in it.

Gemblong-The Sugary Cake

This guy is very dedicated and so seriuosly managing his morning business. As far as i know there are 3 young guys in a group selling this sugary cake-Gemblong. The cake is made from flour and glutinous rice powder blended with viscous sugar water covered on the surface. It taste so sweet. Too sweet sometimes !Really not recommended for diabetic ones. It cost about Rp. 10.000-/pack with 6 pieces in it. Wanna try ?

Cibubur , Bogor , Puncak , Sukabumi and other West Java area is the most area you could easily found these cake. Good luck guy !

Morning Newspapers

Bad news is a good news ? I dont think so ! I also never buy and read this kind of yellow papers .

This guy cover his face with mountain mask . It is in the morning but he is afraid of dust polution. Due to th e running car i can not take this picture in a perfect angle since the car behind me push me a horn , got to be in a hurry . Otherwise Penk!! Penk !!. Good morning newspaper boy . Lonely Sphinx in The Early Morning

Could be bored capturing this strange statute from any corner . When the stop for traffiic jump ,cant help the feeling not to shot this image. Good morning Sphinx , what do you think when you see Cibubur in the early morning ? Sky is still blue. It is white cloud hanging in the sky. Sunlight comes so bright . But who know it will be raining ?

The Three Male Urinoirs at Cibubur 21

Over this last decade when you go to Indonesia malls , you will find that the toilet and the restrooms is very clean and convinient to use. No splitting water on the floor. It is clean ! Especially when you are going to high class mall in Jakarta .

Now it is good contageous action for other small city to have a nice, good and clean urinoir as you find at that Cibubur Junction 21 too. You will smell a very atmosphereous odor in the air, lavenders, oceanic odors, floral, that will make you fell in the open air. That's good i think !

Tukang Rambutan -The Rambutan Seller

Rainy season is Rambutan season ? What abundance fruits !!! . This fruit got a very love Botanical name " Arythera Lithoralis Bl " of the Sapindaceae family . Nobody can help the feeling to try this lovely fruit ! Wanna ?

This guy is only the re-seller of rambutan. he does not have his own plantation . By reselling the product he could be making lot of money too. It is about Rp. 9000- Rp. 10000/a bucket. I think it is good price with 30-35 pieces sweet juicy ones.

Legenda Wisata-The City of Adventures

This is the place where is live now. I take this picture in the morning when the traffic jump now found in front of the gate. So the car stop a couple minutes enough for capturing this signboard. Now Cibubur is on the move. Lot of green area along the way of Transyogi road is being demolished cutting off ...gone. I see this area expanding like Jakarta.

I can not imagine what will it be looking like when the highway crushing this area next year 2008-2009 . In deed it will solve the problem of the next coming traffic jump but should we let this green area gone ? But up till now it is very nice sitting in front of veranda in the lazy afternoon while the cool wind of Salak mountain blowing freezily from Bogor side...oh me God.. thanks God you me this Cibubur area for my dream come true !

Petronas at Cibubur

This Petronas was coming to this area in 2007. It has been 1 year. This area used to be a small restaurant that going to be bankrupt. Then the site has been grown by grass for many years. This Petronas is the first that coming and penetrating Cibubur area selling gasoline.

It is very bright and so green...

Tamini Square at Night

I feel that Tamini Square is still around and near Cibubur area, why not ? I see this building in the morning and at night. This buildiing tower is very glimmering from a far. When i take this picture some people looking at me in a strange manner. They thought i am a reporter but why it is too late ?

This is absolutely eye catching scenery when you entered Citra Grand complex.

It has been quite long that i would like to capture this building imaage at night. Since it is very much stunning when we passed through this kiosk. the colour is very bright and the giant banner is very eye catching. it is very Chinese theme atmostphere. Red and yellow all over the air.

This galery is selling high quality products of ceramic ware with very low price compared to the same products displayed at mall. This products is original ones manufactured by the same plant that export to UK, USA. These is the second quality but overall the quality is very-very much OKE. This product is very marketable.

This galery i think would be looking better if the put AC on it with glass walls so that the dust would be freely hampering the products. It looks quite dirty by dust. This building is very Cibubur taste. What is Cibubur taste ?

Cibubur Depok Milestone

This milestone on the border of Cibubur Depok is very lonely. No neon light on it.

Cibubur Junction at Night

A green garden has been demolished when this mall erected last year. The small city is waking up!

A couple years ago in the morning, it was still very greeny over this area. Lot of green Leucaena leucochepela ( petai cina ) trees covered this area . Some time we still could at that time , the morning fogs lingered on oer the leeves. It was used to be a driving range and also a strolling garden for local people in the lazy afternoon. It was 3 years ago. It has been gone now.

Now a luxurious mall has been standing here with all the consequences came along with it. One of them is regular morning traffic jump. But this the reality when the small city growing up. But i hope and that the green park in front of this mall would be still as it is untouchable forever. Since that green park where parking lot for motorbike occupied here is still promising and still being green up till now.

But this small city is now ssteadily growing and expanding. Could the green park of Bumi Perkemahan Cibubur will survive ?

Street Lamp Under The Rain

Over the dark sky in th middle of the drizzle, can you see the reflection of the raindrops ? The wall of the highway looks so glooomy over the cool weather. How lonely is this neon lamp in the middle of the night, standing alone...

Starfruit

When rainy season is coming, it always be getting along with fruits seasons ( non Asian people will be amazed that we have more than 4 seasons in a year ha haha haa..). This starfruit is very juicy and watery due to high water content and it is usually less sweet. This fruit that is native to Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India- has a very sexy botanical name: Averrhoa Carambola

Taking this pictures at night under petromax-kerosene pressure lantern -the colours of the skin star fruit is so tempting .It is unluckily not my favourite fruit.

Smiling at D'Crepes Cibubur Junction

This encouraging signboard is sticked at the kitchen wall of of D'Crepes Cibubur Junction. I took it when i was waiting two friendly guys of D'Crepes who baking 3 pieces of Choconut and Nutellas for me. I think these guys are very good employees with nice talking and so polite too.

I asked him to let me taking this encouging signboard. What make me so light-hearted is that these polite guys baking my D'Crepes in smiling ( offcourse !) with whistling happily , oh what a wonderful world...although both of them has been standing there baking all day long.

Thank you guys for your cheerfull day !

When Celebration Is Over

When celebrtain is over,what has been forgotten ? Do we set up new goals and new dreams to pursue in this new year ? Sometimes having celebration with fireworks poping up all over the sky, trumpets screaming and humming in the air, what has been forgotten , what has been missing ?
