The colour of these delima fruit is very truly tempting for me. This Punica granatum ( Latin ) fruit -originally from Himalaya and Afganistan or Asia minor area - will more abundance and will be more much distributed in many malls and street kioks especially prior to Chinese New year. Since the Chinese believe that you will have some more lucks by eating this fruit in Chinese new year eve. As you know that the seed of the this Shi Liu (Mandarin ) or Shak Liu ( Hakka dialect ) coloured in bright red symbolized the gems , pearl and precious stone.
