It is raining on old and new celebration in Cibubur tonight. It was also raining since this morning. Its is raining all day long. December would be going soon. 2007 will be saying goodbye. Is it her teardrops over the rain ? But tonight celebration would not be as warm as last year. It is so cool. So freezy like today's weather in Cibubur. What a lovely rain. What a nice rain...

Three Boys Waiting for the Rain

These little boys is waiting the next rain. They are renting the umbrella for the passers by with Rp. 1000-2000 by rent. The first rain is just stopping and now they are waiting for the next opportunity. May the next rain be coming today ?

Most of them is still schooling but try to make fortune and have small money with this business. When i am asking the boy about the family he told me that his father knew what he was doing even though the family knew that these boys sometimes must be fighting with the rain cool , with the raindrops.

Some times i fell that how lucky are others children who has a good family who could provide them with warm and convinient shelter. These boy seems having no a kind of good fortune to live in. They must be fighting with the cool weather...

Papa Ron's Pizza at Night

I am asking the manager of Cibubur Pitzza to take the picture for this Blog. Mr. Endang seems so nice to me. He told me about the brief history of this restaurant building colours . It is painted red and yellow based on Endang's idea and suggestion. And then that is the colours. So bright and very eye catching when you are passing by Citra Grand area. That is the colours of Papa Ron's Pitzza !! And i think that was a very good idea indeed. This outlet is a good and nice place to have a rendez vous .

It was beginning with Mr. Ron Muller who invented long ago and populerized this pizza in Indonesia. Having lot of experiences in food and restaurant business, it is easy for Ron Muller to rebuild and reinvent a new one pizza. He after that established Papa Ron's Pitzza. Now this restaurant already got 44 outlets all over Jakarta and the sorrounding areas including Cibubur and also all over Indonesia.

What was so interesting in this outlet is they have a Junior Pizza Maker club for childreen that teaching how to make pitzza and so on. That was very interesting i think !

The menu i like the most is his Original Line Pitzza and also his Extravaganza, hmmm yumm..yummmm, what dont you try , pals ? Wanna dine in or just take away ? Endang the manager gave me the number : 021 8459 3232..hallo..can i help you, sir??

Holland Bakery's Fire Whirl

Indeed this is the only one Holland Bakery outlet at Cibubur. This place is my favourite one for its homebreads. This Holland bakery has been occupying this area for quite long. When i was visiting this are around 2000 , this outlet has been there.

The unique and remarkable tower of Holland Bakery is the same all over in Indonesia. I knew Holland bakery first when i lived at North Jakarta . Seeing this tower at JL. Hayam Wuruk everyday when i was going to campus.

This tower with its wind whirl is very stunning when being captured in camera. The optical images is much more different and much more beautiful. The wind whirl is looking like fire whirl.

This tower is viewable from far away. It is typically Dutch building.

Poseidon at The Gate

I think this must be depecting Poseidon, the god of the sea of the Greek. In Latin it named Neptune , the master of the sea, also the master of the horses and earthquakes. Poseidon in the Greek Mythology was the brother of Zeus and Hades.

This guy absolutely is the master of woman, why not be ? He has 27 wifes , waaooo ...that gave him 56 sons and daughthers. And i think he is the pioner of Polygamy from the ancient times.

This is the statue in front of Legenda Wisata marketing office. When i took this picture a guy from security office did not allow me to capture this image. I protested and asked him who he was. After knowing that i was part of the community he went away silently. Currently the marketing office prohibited outsiders taking pictures of the statues and the buildings around the complex avoid of being imatated.

This must be a funnything i supposed ! Why should they afraid of that ? This is a public area and this images of statue could be found and could be imitated freely everyway.

It is because God creates and provide us a lot of seasons. No any country ever has a lot of season as we have here in Indonesia. Europe countries only got 4 seasons. America also. But we have here 10 seasons.. may be 12 seasons ...ooh la..la...

ATM Centre of Little China

Looking this small building , i am thinking about my little temple in my hometown in Bangka. This building built resembling the old China architecture of Ming Dynasty. If i take this picture at night, this would be remarkable too with the light of night lamps.

ATM BCA has a very cool aircondioning, sometimes i could not stay longer than 5 minutes in that hub, it is too cool, or extremely cool. I think BCA people must lowering the temperature to 25-26 degree since it set up at 18 degree meanwhile the Cibubur temperature at night is cool, so why dont they lower it down ? It is also consuming high electricity power.

Do you see any odd and funny things with that of 4 discs above the roof ?

Dermaga Dim Sum at Night

Tonight we havea a nice dinner with my family at this cozy cafe. A hard rain is just like pourring from the sky all over Cibubur since the afternoon when we outtowned to Jakarta. Being back from Jakarta at 7 o'clock in the evening the rain is still falling down. What a lovely weather. What a lovely December. Cool and deeply frezzy.

This cafe has been running less than for a year. Since it located in front of the Cibubur Lake, that is why it called Dermada Dim Sum. Offcourse the menu is only dim sum itself, many options we could have. Sea food dim sum with shrimps is tasty and very nice menu for dinner. But the most menu that i like the best is The Black Pepper Crabs -Kepiting Lada Hitam-. It tastes quite different with other restaurant that also offered the same menu. The crabs are not so big and not so small, it is quite spicy enough and very suitable with the hot rice . The rice is very soft but not watery. It is very " pulen " ! The i thrown away my spoons everytime meeting this Black Pepper menu , since using my naked palm and fingers is giving more tasty.

The Samon pouridge is also delicious especially with light pepper taste on it. My daughter takes 1 and half bowl tonight. Why i like spending my dinner and my lunch at this Dermaga Dim Sum because of the lake view is very remarkable especially at night. We could see restaurant lights along the lake glimmering over the dark water surface. It is calm and sleepy lake.

I think this cafe will be having a very good fortune since it faced the water -the lake -as the source of wealth according to Chinese Fengshui. And we could see this cafe also has a very good response to Cibubur community. We have another cafe , there is also one Sea Food restaurant, it called Telaga- means also The Lake. It is indeed one of my favourite sea food resto. This resto opened around more or less 1 year ago.

No building occupied this along side of Cibubur Lake before Telaga. Since this lake side area , as far as i know is a restricted area for any building . It is a conservation area. I have no information regarding the lake . How old is she. How wide and how long. But someday i think i should find it more. But i like this lake especially when the water is high. Lot of green trees covering it from a long side of it.

You also should take your family to have and feel this this green atmosphere . Believe me it is very nice. No place in Jakarta we could have a dinner or lunch by the lake view at day or night only at Cibubur area ! What a remarkable place !!

Roof of Sentra Ming at Night

This miniature of Ming architecture in Little China of Legenda Wisata sometimes make you fell that you are already somewhere in China mainland. I think Legenda Wisata management really serious in copying at least the atmosphere of sense of being in China.

This Little China buildings are divided into 4 bulding clusters. It copied the main and prominent dynasties in old China history . The cluster called as Sentra ; The sentra Ming, The Sentra Sui, The Sentra Han, and the Last is The Sentra Tang.

It occupied as Kiosk and office building and other business like restaurant, minimarkets . There are 2 minimarkets , Alfamart and Lanny minimarket.

Before these 4 clusters was built around 2001 , this area is very shodowy and greeny with lot of big trees originally from the kampong trees where this Legenda Wisata site located. Then the small forest was removed and demolished for this Little China business complex based on the grand design of complex. How poor it is !

I like this complex since it is complete enough to support daily life like ATM and even kid's schools. The ATM hub has BCA, Mandiri, NISP, Lippo, and Niaga. It is about 3 minutes on walk or 300 meter from my Zona Columbus. It is convinient enough i think !

Two Egyptian Candles at Legenda Wisata

Do you think that these huge concrete -made candles look really like candles ? I dont know but that depend on our own wild imagination indeed. Why do i call them Egyptian candles infact these concrete made more look like palm trees ?

This site is at the left side to The Sphinx . Many Egyptian architectures built around the gate to depict this area as the the part of the Legend of the world. The Egyptian Legends !

I dont believe that The Sphinx is truly the guardian of the tomb of the kings where many Pharaos buried in pyramids complex of Giza. The great Sphinx must be a mystical beings . Not only the statue .

These burning giant candles probably as the guardian light for Pharao' soul for travelling to the eternity...

The Monument of Raffles Hill

Last night when i was going home, i saw this monument was suddenly stunning for me that has been seeing this monument for more than 4-5 years . This monument at Raffles Hill is very remarkable especialy at night pouring with blazing light as one of Cibubur landmark.

As far as i know , this monument in front of Raffles Hill gate was erected like this 4-5 years ago long before that there were no monument on that site. Besides this monument of Raffles Hill there are six rouring lions at the right and the left side of the gate. This 3 Lions at every side is a very good feng shui for this complex. They are strong and good guardians to protect the community. The managment og Raffles Hill must be knowledgeable about Fengshui and its rules that follow these symbols.

Sometimes many things was suddenly remarkable and interesting enough when you have a little to pay more attention. I think to be more attentive to some little things is a kind of more grateful for God's creations. Who knows ...?

Three Balls in Colour Ribbon, Citra Grand Gate

It is very interesting to see this concrete balls in front of Citra Grand gate everyday when i am going to the office. Actually there are another 3 bigger balls in right side of the gate, but i only interested in these three small balls with same size.

This balls will be always decorated by the Citra Grand estate based on the event and special occasions. This is a kind simple happenng arts. They are painted colourful. When World Cup Championship 2007, these balls decorated as the football championship. Now it is coming to Chrismas, they are decorated as the Christmas gift.

This picture is taken from my running car while stopping for a traffic jamp in front of gate. This gate is complished around the end of 2006 before that Citra Grand people entering from small gate besides Citra Grand mall (Hero )

The Church of Maria Bunda Segala Bangsa, Kota Wisata

This church is built since 2005 then it is completely erected like this in the early of 2007 . Thanks God , this community finally has her own church building from the ground. It is so bright in the evening. I think this is so proud to have the church like this.

When i moved to Legenda Wisata Cibubur in April 2003. we have no churchat all, just sheltering every Sunday under Bunda Hati Kudus Elementary School for 2-3 years quite long enough. But the community is so dedicated and determinated for having a good and nice church of her own. Then God send His hand to help this community from the ground to build a God's House on this area.

The name of the church is Gereja Maria Bunda Segala Bangsa ( MBSB). The church of Maria Lady of All Nations.

I take this picture after a hard rain falling from the sky. Meanwhile the rain drops is gilmmering on the grass. Some people of community is being rehearsal of choir for the coming Christmas. Cool December night is hard blowing over the threes around the church. It is nice to hear Christmas choir singing in the middle of the quite night.

The Sphinx Silhouette at Legenda Wisata Cibubur

We are not in the middle of the Sahara Desert to find The Great Sphinx Statue staring to the wildernest of the borderless sand. But you could find him at the front gate of Legenda Wisata Cibubur . It is too bad that Legenda Wisata office did not have the sense of history about this great Sphinx. It is much better to put some data or simple explanation under this statue so the visitors or anybody who passing by could at least understand what the meaning of this statue.

Everyday in the morning i could see him without being sleepy staring at Jl. Alternatif Transyogi Cibubur in front of him without boring. Day and night! Poor old Great Sphinx ...! He looks like so lonely...

Oh My God, i have been living this small and nice town of Cibubur for 4 years and 8 months. This coming April 2008 , it would be my 5 years living in this small town. I like this area. Still greeny and cool in the morning . It is always foggy in the morning at 5 or 6 o'clock . Also it is sometimes foggy especially when i coming from office ...at night

Now it will be raining.In the background you could see the dark skies...promising for the rain..

Kota Wisata Sport Club and Spa

It is not The Red Square of Kremlin, it is Kota Wisata Sport Club & Spa Building. Looks like an imagination for me. Living in Cibubur you will see this building everyday, while this building also occupied as the marketing office of Kota Wisata estate.
